Pittsburgh – The August 2009 issue of WHIRL Magazine features an exclusive interview with and photographs of Mrs. Howard Stern, Pittsburgh’s own Beth Ostrosky.
The model and spokesperson for the North Shore Animal Rescue League poses in high fashion from Halston and Marchesa with rescued dogs from Pittsburgh's own Steel City Greyhounds. “My request is for people to never buy from a pet store and to visit their local shelter. If people want to buy a purebred, they should know that 25 percent of the animals at shelters are purebred,” Stern told WHIRL.

From the Howardshrine Mailbag: King of Cable and Captain Janks
Tonight while looking for some stuff that I needed in a storage closet I discovered a Xerox box that had been in storage for years. Inside the box were photos of me from back in the day. A few were of the first time Janks and I met. Captain Janks had a huge influence on me as a teenager and is one of the most creative and slick people I know. Janks is a great person who is misunderstood and unfortunately went down the dark path that drug addiction leads people. Lets hope he stays clean and returns to his comedy gold soon!
