Tory Lane Kicks-off the New Series With an Appearance on the Howard Stern Show
New York, March 16 – Howard Stern’s Howard TV On Demand presents a new series this month: Interview with a Porn Star. This parody of a well-known celebrity interview show gives new meaning to the genre as only the Stern crew can do it. Howard Stern Show segment producer and writer Richard Christy plays the straight-laced interviewer who delves into the lives of four unabashed and award-winning adult film stars, Tory Lane, Britney Stevens, Pinky and Amy Ried. During each hour-long conversation, Christy’s probing questions get them to give up their secrets of the trade as they talk shop with him about breaking into the business, their ravenous sexual appetites, their limitations, turn-ons, advice for the audience and the real back story of their craft. Of course the audience gets a look at some of the assets that made each one of them famous.
The outrageous, luscious, insightful and one-of-a-kind Tory Lane appeared live on the air of the Howard Stern Show on Thursday March 12 to promote the series, by playing the “Mexican Delivery Game” in which she tried to coax delivery guys to make a decision to get up close and personal with her or take a generous cash tip. Her appearance is now available on for viewing on the Howard TV service.
New episodes of Interview with a Porn Star premiere exclusively on Howard TV On Demand every Thursday throughout March, and will remain on the service until the end of April 2009. About Series Host, Richard Christy
Richard Christy is Associate Producer, Howard TV On Demand. He hails from Redfield, Kansas, a tiny town of about fifty people. In October 1999, Richard had the first of many of his comedic voice mail messages played on “The Howard Stern Show.” Richard was hired on the Stern show after Stuttering John left to join “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” Howard auditioned 10 people for John's job from April to June 2004. After a week-long audition, Howard's audience voted and Richard won his dream job. Since joining the show, Richard has become most famous for the prank phone calls and gay stunts that he does with Sal the Stockbroker. Also a well-known heavy metal speed drummer, Richard still plays drums every day and continues to write and record music. In November 2008, Howard TV launched its first original series starring Richard, Wack Pack at the Christy’s Farm in which members of the infamous Wack Pack go to Kansas to wreak havoc on Richard’s parents’ actual farm.
